EU Blue Cards

The EU Blue Card is a residence and work permit designed for highly qualified non-EU nationals seeking employment in Germany. It offers a fast-track route to long-term residence and is especially attractive to professionals in fields like IT, engineering, healthcare, and finance.

Who is eligible?

You may qualify if:

  • You hold a recognized university degree or equivalent qualification.

  • You have a concrete job offer or employment contract in Germany.

     

  • Your gross annual salary meets the minimum threshold (this is adjusted yearly; contact us for the current rate).

     

  • In shortage occupations (e.g. IT, medicine, engineering), lower salary thresholds may apply.
